Comment on "Critical properties of highly frustrated pyrochlore antiferromagnets"
We argue that the analysis of Reimers {\it et al.} [ Phys. Rev. B {\bf 45},
7295 (1992)] of their Monte Carlo data on the Heisenberg pyrochlore
antiferromagnet, which suggests a new universality class, is not conclusive. By
re-analysis of their data, we demonstrate asymptotic volume dependence in some
thermodynamic quantities, which suggests the possibility that the transition
may be first order.Comment: 5 pages (RevTex 3.0), 3 figures available upon request, CRPS-93-0
A Blockchain-based Approach for Data Accountability and Provenance Tracking
The recent approval of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) imposes
new data protection requirements on data controllers and processors with
respect to the processing of European Union (EU) residents' data. These
requirements consist of a single set of rules that have binding legal status
and should be enforced in all EU member states. In light of these requirements,
we propose in this paper the use of a blockchain-based approach to support data
accountability and provenance tracking. Our approach relies on the use of
publicly auditable contracts deployed in a blockchain that increase the
transparency with respect to the access and usage of data. We identify and
discuss three different models for our approach with different granularity and
scalability requirements where contracts can be used to encode data usage
policies and provenance tracking information in a privacy-friendly way. From
these three models we designed, implemented, and evaluated a model where
contracts are deployed by data subjects for each data controller, and a model
where subjects join contracts deployed by data controllers in case they accept
the data handling conditions. Our implementations show in practice the
feasibility and limitations of contracts for the purposes identified in this
paper
Three-Component Fermi Gas in a one-dimensional Optical Lattice
We investigate the effect of the anisotropy between the s-wave scattering
lengths of a three-component atomic Fermi gas loaded into a one-dimensional
optical lattice. We find four different phases which support trionic
instabilities made of bound states of three fermions. These phases distinguish
themselves by the relative phases between the 2 atomic density waves
fluctuations of the three species. At small enough densities or strong
anisotropies we give further evidences for a decoupling and the stabilization
of more conventional BCS phases. Finally our results are discussed in light of
a recent experiment on Li atoms.Comment: 4 pages, published version. Experimental discussion has been extende
Pengaruh Internet Marketing Terhadap Pembentukan Word of Mouth Dan Efektivitas Iklan Dalam Meningkatkan Brand Awareness (Studi Pada Follower Akun Twitter Pocari Sweat Di Jejaring Sosial Twitter)
Several factors can be used asa determinerof the success increating brand awareness. In this research, the factors that can affect Brand AwarenessareWord of Mouth and Advertising Effectiveness which are formed of Internet Marketing. This research includes an explanatory research. This research is a survey research which uses an online questionnaire to followers of Pocari Sweat's account on Twitter (@PocariID) with a sample of 110 respondents.Using path analysis as analytical method, the results of this research indicatethat The Internet Marketing influential positive and significantly toward The Word of Mouth; The Internet Marketing influential positive and significantly toward the Effectiveness of Advertising; The Internet Marketing negative effect and insignificant if tested directly against Brand Awareness; and also theWord of Mouth that has negative effects and not significantly toward Brand Awareness. Furthermore, the Effectiveness of Advertising influential positive and significantly toward Brand Awareness
Confinement and Superfluidity in one-dimensional Degenerate Fermionic Cold Atoms
The physical properties of arbitrary half-integer spins
fermionic cold atoms trapped in a one-dimensional optical lattice are
investigated by means of a low-energy approach. Two different superfluid phases
are found for depending on whether a discrete symmetry is
spontaneously broken or not: an unconfined BCS pairing phase and a confined
molecular superfluid instability made of fermions. We propose an
experimental distinction between these phases for a gas trapped in an annular
geometry. The confined-unconfined transition is shown to belong to the
generalized Ising universality class. We discuss on the possible Mott phases at
filling.Comment: 4 pages, revised versio
Studi Penanganan Sampah Di Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir Jatibarang Berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Semarang Nomor 6 Tahun 2012 Tentang Pengelolaan Sampah
Waste handling is one of Semarang Local Governance ways to do the waste management of Semarang. This policy\u27s implementor is Hygine and Gardens Landscape Agency of Semarang. The purpose of this reasearch is to describe and analyze how the Local Governance of Semarang done the implementation of waste handling at Final Processing Place Jatibarang (TPA Jatibarang) depend on Local Regulation Number 6 in 2012. This research is using a qualitative approache with descriptive type. The Analysis techniques to acquire data through observation, interviews and documentation. This research is looking at five phenomena on this implementations, there are waste sorting, collecting, transporting, processing, and final processing. Waste sorting is the responsibility of household to care and to aware of organic and anorganic waste. Waste Collecting is managed by each district. Waste transporting until Final processing is the responsibility of Hygine and Gardens Landscape Agency of Semarang based on the procedure and the completeness of waste transporting equiments to Final Processing Place Jatibarang by the waste trucks until waste final process to be a methan gas and organic fertilize. Depend on the George C. Edwards III, the driving factor of this implementation are communication, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, meanwhile the inhibiting factor is resources. Local Government of Semarang has been done well based on Local Regulation Number 6 in 2012, even though not optimal yet because both the equipments and the finance resources are limit. So of that, embrace human resources, manage finance for waste handling equipments, also support and teamwork of Government, privat, and people are needed
New Universality Class in three dimensions: the Antiferromagnetic model
We present the results of a Monte Carlo simulation of the model in
three dimensions with negative coupling. We observe a second order phase
transition between the disordered phase and an antiferromagnetic, unfrustrated,
ordered one. We measure, with a Finite Size Scaling analysis, the thermal
exponent, obtaining . We have found two magnetic-type relevant
operators whose related exponents are and
respectively.Comment: 10 pages, 2 Postscript figures. Revised version: references adde
